FAQ and Advice - "Frequently Asked Questions"
There are a few questions I'm frequently asked here at WAHALI: These questions are not in any particular order or of importance
1. Who will hire me if I choose to work at home?
2. I want to start a home based business, what kind of business should I choose?
3. Does anyone have experience with stuffing of envelopes?
4. Does anyone have any information on the assembly at home ads?
5. I can not find the answer to my question, how can I write to WAHALI?
Back to the questions
I want to work from home, who will hire me?
Watch out for the offers that claim to provide lists of companies hiring home workers. They may be legitimate, but there are a lot of scams out there too. The most important thing to remember is that you should NEVER have to pay someone to work for them.
The good news is, that there are more and more companies hiring telecommuters now. I list new jobs here at WAHALI every day. <http://www.wahm.com/jobs.html> There shouldn't be any fees associated with the jobs I list. Also, check the help wanted listings in your local paper.
I want to start a home business, what kind of business should I choose?
The only person, who can answer this question for you, is you. I can’t tell you what business to start. What I do tell people though, is to think about your skills and talents, think about the things you like to do. There may be a business idea there, also check out the WAHALI business directory. <http://www.wahm.com/business.html> See what other people are doing.
If you’re nervous about starting out all by yourself, talk to other work at home moms/dads in your neighborhood. You may be able to team up with one of them. Look at the WAHALI location directory <http://www.wahm.com/directory.html> and see if there is anyone listed in your area.
Does anyone have experience with stuffing of envelopes?
I have never personally seen any envelope stuffing "jobs" that weren't just fronts for trying to get other people to send in money to learn about stuffing envelopes, or perhaps offering something for sale at a price far beyond what's it worth. Again, if it sounds too good to be true, it is. Because if you really think about it logically, why would someone pay you several dollars per envelope to do such a simple job?
Does anyone have any information on the assembly at home ads?
I haven't heard of any home assembly jobs that are legitimate. I'm not saying there are none out there, I just haven't heard about them. Typically, you pay a fee for materials, your first jobs may be accepted, then you pay for more materials and your following work is rejected as not being done correctly. Be careful with these "opportunities."
I can not find the answer to my question, how can I write to WAHALI?
I'm happy to hear from WAHLI readers. However, as hard as I try to answer all of my email, I'm not always able to keep up. If you really, really need to write to me, my email address is support@workathomeandloviet.com
